Spring Training & Evaluations Begin April 29th!
We are excited to begin the 2024 season on April 29th. We ask that all players attend their designated night for evaluations as listed below & posted on the website. The players will complete various skills to gauge their current abilities. These evaluations allow the convenors to create the most balanced teams possible.
Mandatory Evaluations: April 29th – May 9th (weather dependent)
Location: All events at Stan Wadlow Park
Time: 6:30pm – 8:15pm (U15/U18: 8:30pm – 10:00pm)
Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can be ready to go on time.
Be sure to bring your glove, helmet & bat and to wear your jock!
Contact your convenor with any questions/issues!
Teams
Once ALL evaluations are complete, the convenors will form the teams and advise the coaches, who will in turn advise their players. You will then be able to view your team schedule on the website.
Spring Training & Exhibition Games – End of evaluations through May 23rd
Barring any weather issues requiring rescheduling of the above, the exhibition schedule on the website will be followed for all teams. This schedule will be posted soon.
The teams in the 6U thru 9U divisions will have organized practices/fun games during these exhibition game times. All other divisions will have exhibition games scheduled. YES – There will be games scheduled on May 20th.
Send our 12U AAA Bulldogs to Cooperstown - Krispy Kreme Fundraiser!
Our 12U AAA EY Bulldogs have an exciting opportunity to represent East York Baseball Association at a week-long tournament in Cooperstown, NY this summer, and they need your help! The team will be selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts at House League Opening Day (Saturday May 25th) to help fundraise for the tournament.
PRE-ORDER: You can help support the team by pre-ordering doughnuts here.
Special early bird pricing: $14/dozen, for orders placed and paid for by May 1st.
After May 1st: $16/dozen, while supplies last.
Notice Regarding Playground @ Stan Wadlow Park
We know many families enjoy using the playground while at the baseball fields, so we wanted to pass along notice that the playground is currently CLOSED. The playground is undergoing renovations, and the city has fenced off this area. We have not been informed of a timeline other than the city hopes to complete the work by early summer.
House League Registration – Spots in 18U available
There are still a few openings in the 18U division. If your player is in this division, please ask them to encourage their friends to register. All other divisions are full and wait lists are closed.
