For Elite teams, tryouts are usually hosted in late July & early August for the 2024 teams.

For Rep teams, tryouts are conducted in the fall each year.

The East York Baseball Association has historically been one of the stronger Toronto Baseball Associations in its proud history since inception in 1952.  East York Bulldogs teams have won numerous Toronto and Ontario Championships for AAA baseball and one Canadian Championship for AAA baseball, along with numerous championships for our Elite, AA, A and Select teams.  We have had a large number of players go on to play in both USA and Canadian colleges and universities, to represent Canada at the Olympics and to both the minor and major leagues of baseball.

 
It all starts at our home field Stan Wadlow Park in East York, but we supplement with additional practice and games times at nearby Dieppe Park, Greenwood Parks and other baseball diamonds in our area.  Our players conduct winter training at a blend of the National Recruiting Services (NRS) complex at 1400 O’Connor Drive, MLS Sportsplex at St. Clair Avenue/Kennedy and an indoor batting and pitching cage on Sunrise Avenue.
 
We have a number of paid instructors and are also grateful to the many dedicated volunteer coaches and managers that assist these teams and our program in their development and game play.  It all starts with coaching!
